About us
Cafe Refectoire opened in August 2011 following the conservation, renovation and development work funded by HLF.
It is intended to provide a revenue for the charitable works of St James Priory Project and also to help provide funds for the ongoing maintenance of the historic church buildings.
Breakfast, Lunches, Sandwiches, Rolls, Baguettes, Paninis, Cakes and Biscuits are the staple provisions.
Excellent coffees and teas and an assortment of cold drinks are available througout the day.
Corporate breakfasts and lunches are provided to order.
We are also promoting our select dinners and lunches which are advertised on a monthly basis.

THE CHURCH IS OPEN MONDAY - FRIDAY FROM 10am - 5pm.
ACCESS IS FROM WHITSON STREET OR VIA THE CAFE.
FUNDRAISING
St James is not a Parish Church and has no regular income from a church congregation.
Please consider making a contribution to maintain this Heritage Building for Bristol and the Nation.
Also we continue to rely on donations for our charitable work of supporting vulnerable people.

ST JAMES HOUSE
St James House is an independent supported housing provision.
The service provides housing support for single people in recovery from addiction for up to 24 months.
Referrals will be accepted from individuals as well as agencies.

Sunday Mass
Mass is celebrated every Sunday at 8am.
There is no priest attached to St James Priory so a priest from St Mary on the Quay celebrates Mass every Sunday at 8am.
